I know it can be overwhelming to do it on your own.  Which is why I want to be there with you, along with the other women in the group, supporting you and encouraging you every step of the way.

I know fitness routines can get boring.  Which is why every workout is different, plus we are adding some other aspects throughout the 8 weeks to keep things interesting and FUN!

I know our mindset and the way we speak to ourselves can be nasty and stop us from becoming who we say we want to be.  Which is why we are going to be asking ourselves the important questions and taking the time out to define our why, our motivation, and discovering the beliefs that are holding us back.

This is my most vulnerable project yet. As a Personal Trainer, I lost my way.  I gained weight, I stopped moving my body, and I found myself eating entire blocks of chocolate several times a week.

I suffer hormonal imbalances, I get anxious and depressed.  I am guilty of burning the candle at both ends.  I fall into the trap of spending hours and hours scrolling on social media feeling sorry for myself. I wanted to change.  I knew I couldn’t go on doing what I do, if I didn’t sort my own self out.

I am with you during the workouts that I struggle.  I am with you during the workouts where I feel strong.  I am with you doing the workouts I didn’t want to do either.  And I am with you doing the workouts that I was ready for.

This program is for me, but with it, I felt like I needed to help you.

A real & relatable exercise program, for busy mums.

It was simple.

I didn’t want to feel unhappy anymore.

I didn’t want to feel disgusted in myself anymore.

I didn’t want to feel so tired anymore.

I didn’t want to feel resentment towards my kids for taking energy and love that I didn’t have to give.

I didn’t want to feel like I was ruining my life by what I was thinking and how I was acting.

So, I made the decision to change.

I am setting myself up for success.

I am taking small, achievable steps.

I am moving my body a few times a week.  Sometimes for 10 minutes, sometimes for 25 minutes.  But I moved.  Regardless of everything else I could be doing. And I feel better.

I find time I previously said I didn’t have.  And by doing so, I find I am more productive, and I have more motivation.

I am starting to like who I am again.

I am choosing foods because of the way they make me feel and what my body needs to maintain a healthy body fat and build lean muscle mass.

I move my body because of the way it makes me feel.

This isn’t about running away from who I don’t want to be.

This is about running towards my goals.

I am making the focus about who I DO want to be and how I want to feel.

And now I am only looking forward and feeling fantastic.

The actions you take daily are a reminder of whether you are loving on yourself, or not giving a sh!t.

Changing your perception towards exercise, nutrition and your behaviour is the key to success.

Exercise should never be a punishment.

Nutrition doesn’t have to mean going on a strict diet.

Since starting with ALF Health my life has changed, I was suffering from depression, always lethargic, unsocial and snappy at my husband and children. I also had real fears for my future health with a huge family history of obesity, diabetes and heart disease .

Now I have more energy to get through my days my depression is low to almost gone, I get up, workout in the morning which gives me everything in need to get though my day I am happier and more relaxed with my children and husband.
