{RECIPE} JAFFA PROTEIN BALLS

 

{Jaffa Protein Balls}

– 1 cup raw almonds
– 1 cup coconut
– 1/2 cup of raw cacao powder
– 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
– 1 tablespoon spirulina powder
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 5 drops of Doterra Wild Orange Essential Oil
– 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
– 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
– 1 cup of medjool dates

Combine all ingredients in a food processor or thermomix until combined.  Roll into small balls.  I made 21.  Pictured I did not use coconut oil, but it is a recommended addition to soften the mixture.  Alternatively you can blend longer until the almonds release their natural oils.  Store in freezer.
